Reverend Michael Anthony Peterson

Rev. Peterson accepted his call to preach in 2004, although the call to preach had been witnessed since the age of 12.  Rev. Peterson preached his initial sermon on July 8, 2005 and was ordained on April 13, 2013 at Second Baptist Church of Homestead, PA under the pastorate of Rev. Donald P. Turner.  Rev. Peterson was installed as Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Coraopolis, PA on September 15, 2013.  The slogan God gave him for our church is to “Grow from the Inside Out”.  Every sermon is purposed to grow believers and draw unbelievers through the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Rev. Peterson graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls with honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in May of 2005.  Rev. Peterson is pursuing his Master’s of Divinity degree from the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA.

Rev. Peterson married Stacey on December 19, 1998 and they have two children.
